The 4th of July Update was the tenth update in RWBY: Amity Arena. It was implemented on July 4, 2019,[1] although the update did not go live until July 5 due to the length of time Google Play processed the update.[2]

- New Units
- Academy Crates were added.[1]
- The Battle of Beacon now had a "Skirmish" mode, which allowed players to collect rewards without having to play the Battle of Beacon mode.[1]
Changes[]
- Crate changes
- The Bulk, Greater, and Superior Crates were now called the Schnee Bulk, Schnee Greater, and Schnee Superior Crates.[1]
- Players could now re-roll certain cards that showed up in crate pulls.[1]
- The Card Store now permanently featured a selection of six cards, rather than just three. This was a holdover from the summer events that started during the After the Fall Update.[1]
Buffs[]
- Roy Stallion: His ATK DMG was increased by 40%.[1]
- Boundless Jaune: His aura cost was decreased from 4 to 2, his HP was reduced by 50%, his ATK was reduced by 50%, his Dash Speed was increased from 5 to 8, his HP no longer drained during his skill, and he now healed 1% more HP per tick.[1]

- Following this update, Google Play added a warning to RWBY: Amity Arena saying it was not suitable for children. The reason why is unknown, as this warning does not appear on the App Store.[3]
