The After the Fall Update was the ninth update in RWBY: Amity Arena. It was implemented on June 4, 2019.[1]

Changes[]
- The Plaza returned, now opening for an hour before being closed for three hours. Additionally, the layout of the Plaza was changed, there were now channels, and several Easter eggs were added.[1]
Buffs[]
- Penny: Penny no longer stands still after activating her skill, and her skill will now no longer be interrupted if Penny dies.[1]
- Glynda: Glynda will now move and attack after her Tower is placed, and her Tower will now remain if Glynda dies.[1]
- Queen Lancer: Its Lancer Summon Interval was decreased from 12s to 9s, and the number of Lancers summoned upon death was increased from 3 to 4.[1]
- Ilia Amitola: Her aura cost was decreased from 3 to 2, her MOV SPD was increased from Normal to Fast, her ATK SPD was increased from 1.2s to 1.1s, and her stealth was now broken after her attack rather than right before.[1]

The original version of the update banner.
- The name for this update is taken from the RWBY novel RWBY: After the Fall, which it was released before, as well as the debut of Carmine Esclados and Baby Ravager.
- This update's banner was originally uploaded featuring Roman Torchwick's disembodied hand resting on Neopolitan's shoulder. A corrected version was later uploaded to the official Amity Arena Twitter account.[2]
