The April Fools Update was the twentieth update in RWBY: Amity Arena. It was implemented on April 2, 2020.[1]

- Atlesian Paladin: Its HP was increased by 5%.[1]
- Zwei: His deploy time after landing was reduced from 1.5s to 1s, his HP was increased by 20%, his ATK was increased by 13%, and his Skill DMG was increased by 13%.[1]
- White Fang Gunner Barracks: The structure now spawned 2 White Fang Gunners instead of just 1.[1]
- Wyvern: Its Skill DMG was increased by 62%.[1]
- Ice Weiss: Her Skill Range was increased from 6 to 8.[1]
Nerfs[]
- Ursa Major: Its HP was reduced by 10%.[1]
- Neon Katt: Her deployment time was increased from 1s to 2s, her damage was reduced by 10%, her Movement Speed was reduced from Very Fast to Normal, and her Movement Speed will now return to Very Fast after four seconds of moving.[1]
- Penny 2.0: Her target acquisition time was increased from 0.2s to 0.5s.[1]
