The Fall of Beacon Update was the sixth update in RWBY: Amity Arena. It was implemented on March 14, 2019.[1]
Additions[]
- New Units
- The Battle of Beacon mode was added, with Ruby Rose being the sole playable character.[1]
- A new card rarity, Legendary, was introduced.[1]
- Two limited-edition Fall of Beacon bundles were added, and each contained a limited-edition "Fall of Beacon" title.[1]
Changes[]
- Certain unspecified melee units had their aggro range slightly reduced to prevent them from moving to unintended targets, and other unspecified melee units had their aggro range slightly increased in order to get them to move to intended targets.[1]
- The starting Aura was increased from 5 to 7.[1]
- The Card Store was redesigned to allow players to buy stacks of cards for a predetermined amount of Lien rather than buying a single copy of a card with an escalating price.[1]
- Drop rates for Epic cards from Crates were increased.[1]
Buffs[]
- Xiong Family: Junior's ATK SPD was increased from 2.5s to 1.9s, the Henchmen's HP was increased by 11%, and the Henchmen's ATK SPD was decreased from 1.3s to 1.5s.[1]
- White Fang Lieutenant: His ATK SPD was increased from 2.4s to 2.2s.[1]
- Atlesian Paladin: Its ATK was increased by 24%.[1]
- Spider Droid: Its HP was increased by 34%, its ATK was decreased by 33%, its Casting Time was decreased from 4s to 2s, its DMG Per Tick was increased by 35%, its Skill Range was increased from 11 to 12, and its Skill DMG to structures was decreased from 100% to 40%.[1]
- Petra Gigas: Its death explosion damage was increased by 67%, and its Skill DMG to structures was increased from 40% to 100%.[1]
- Boarbatusk: Its ATK was increased by 21%.[1]
- Beringel: Its ATK SPD was increased from 2.8s to 2s.[1]
- Ren: His ATK was increased by 5%.[1]
- Hammer Nora: Her HP was increased by 5%, her ATK was increased by 3%, and her Skill DMG was increased by 3%.[1]
- Sun: His Skill Range was increased from 7 to 8.[1]
- May: Her HP was increased by 23%, and her ATK was increased by 8%.[1]
- Coco: Her Target Acquisition Time was increased from 0s to 0.2s, and her Max DMG was increased by 33%.[1]
Nerfs[]
- Nolan: His ATK SPD was decreased from 1.8s to 1.9s.[1]
- AK-130: Their ATK SPD was decreased from 1.4s to 1.5s.[1]
- Baby Death Stalker Swarm: Their HP was decreased by 12%, their ATK was decreased by 12%, and their MOV SPD was decreased from Very Fast to Fast.[1]
- Mercury: His ATK was decreased by 1%, and his Skill DMG was decreased by 1%.[1]
- Cinder: Her Target Acquisition Time was increased from 0s to 0.2s.[1]
