The Major Update Number Zwei was the third update in RWBY: Amity Arena. It was implemented on January 16, 2019.[1]

Changes[]
- The sudden death timer was adjusted. In Arenas 1-3, the timer is 1 minute. From Arenas 4 and onward, the timer is 3 minutes.[1]
- Scrap Crates were removed from the game, and crate rewards were improved.[1]
- Losses resulted in less Trophies lost for players less than 2000 Trophies.[1]
- In the Cookie Shop, the newest products were listed at the top and had "NEW" written on them.[1]
- For friendly matches, player stats were equalized as such: Towers are Level 9, Normal cards are Level 9, Rare cards are Level 7, and Epic cards are Level 4.[1]
- The ability to move Kingdoms by watching ads was added.[1]
Buffs[]
- White Fang Gunners: Their first attack lock-on time was increased from 0.7s to 0.3s.[1]
- AK-200: Their first attack lock-on time was increased from 0.5s to 0.3s.[1]
- Sniper Ruby: Her first attack lock-on time was increased from 0.6s to 0.4s.[1]
- Biker Yang: Her HP was increased 31%, her ATK SPD was increased from 2.2s to 1.8s, and her ATK was decreased by 13%.[1]
- Ribbon Blake: Her damage to structures was increased from 40% to 60%, and her HP was increased by 16%.[1]
- Ursa Major: Its HP was increased by 10%, its ATK SPD was increased from 1.5s to 1.3s, and its ATK was increased by 10%.[1]
- Crow Qrow: His ATK was reduced by 13%, the same as Ribbon Blake's.[1]
- Sun: His ATK was increased by 3%, his ATK SPD was increased from 1.3s to 1.2s, and his clones' ATK was reduced by 13%, the same as Ribbon Blake's and Crow Qrow's.[1]
- Coco: Her ATK Range was increased from 4 to 4.5 and her HP was increased by 8%.[1]
- Spider Droid: Its ATK SPD was increased from 4s to 2.5s.[1]
- Torchwick: His HP and ATK were increased by 5%, and his skill was tuned to behave more accurately.[1]
- Atlesian Paladin: Its HP was increased by 10%, its ATK SPD was increased from 1.7s to 1.5s, its Attack Range was increased from 6.5 to 7, and its ATK was increased by 6%.[1]
- Petra Gigas: Its death explosion timer was decreased from 3s to 2s.[1]

- Baby Death Stalker Swarm: Their first attack lock-on time was decreased from 0.3s to 0.4s.[1]
- Ice Weiss: Her skill damage was changed to where it always lasted 4 seconds, and her freeze damage was decreased by 11%.[1]
- Shield Pyrrha: Her skill range and skill width were decreased by an unspecified amount.[1]
