nievano was an American player of RWBY: Amity Arena located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They are best known for being a top player of the game, frequently streaming the game on Twitch, and were the developer of the Amity Arena Library app.
They were the headmaster of the academy Snowstorm, one of the academies which participate in the Maelstrom Tournament Series, and a frequent participant, commentator, and organizer of Amity Arena tournaments. They have now retired.

Playstyle[]
nievano was the resident swarm player of the competitive scene. They had an unorthodox playstyle using Emerald with other swarm units like White Fang Squad and White Fang Gunners, complementing their deck with Blade Dash Adam and Hammer Nora. Since no other competitive player uses this type of deck, nievano has made a name for themselves as the only swarm player to see success.
