Porterback is an American player of RWBY: Amity Arena. He is best known for posting daily memes in the official Amity Arena subreddit, and for his love of the White Fang Lieutenant. He also makes YouTube videos featuring new units in Amity Arena and streams the game on Twitch.
As of June 16, 2020, Porterback is a moderator of the official Amity Arena subreddit.[1]
History[]
Porterback first began playing RWBY: Amity Arena when it launched. He made his first post on the Amity Arena subreddit on March 7, 2019,[2] and posted his first meme to the subreddit the next day.[3] Within a week, Porterback's memes had become well-known enough to be indirectly mentioned in the patch notes for the Fall of Beacon Update on March 14.[4]
On September 13, 2019, Porterback announced that he would quit playing Amity Arena if nothing was done about sandbagging.[5] However, with the tease of a tenth arena as well as a matchmaking fix, Porterback decided to keep playing.[6]
On June 16, 2020, Porterback, along with Wobblins and Raalm, became an official moderator of the Amity Arena subreddit.[1]

- A recent joke within the community is that Porterback spent $950 trying to get a copy of Sienna Khan upon her release in January 2020,[Citation needed] only to get multiple copies of her when trying to max out Blade Dash Adam in October and November of that year.[7]
