- Sun's summon quote is taken directly from the fourteenth episode of the first season of RWBY Chibi, "Big Vacation".
- Sun's Summer Outfits outfit initially featured sandals, but they were changed to flip flops when Rooster Teeth mentioned that they felt he would wear them instead.[3]
