The wInterim Update was the sixteenth update in RWBY: Amity Arena. It was implemented on December 10, 2019.[1]

- White Fang Gunner Barracks: Its Duration was increased from 45s to 50s, and its HP was increased by 7%.[1]
- The Apathy: The original Apathy now spawned new Apathy in front of them instead of behind them.[1]
- Arslan Altan: Her Skill Cooldown was reduced from 16s to 9s.[1]
- Maria Calavera: Her HP was increased by 10%.[1]

Bug Fixes[]
- An issue with certain devices where the scroll bar would be offscreen was fixed.[1]
- Crow Qrow: Fixed a bug where his skill cooldown would sometimes not reset.[1]
- Hazel Rainart: Fixed a bug where his skill would be randomly interrupted.[1]
- Freezerburn: Now dealt damage when attacking Turrets.[1]
- Atlesian Arachna Mine: Fixed targeting errors involving structures.[1]

- The patch notes mention that Raven Branwen and Sun, two units who players wanted buffs for, could not be buffed during this update.[1]
- This update is the fourth update to be delayed. However, unlike the previous three delayed updates (the 4th of July Update, the Almost Anniversary Update, and the At Last Volume 7 Update), this update was not delayed because of the App Store or Google Play–updating the game's servers simply took longer than expected, delaying the game's update by two[2] and then three[3] hours.
